Faiths share different beliefs at weekend event

People of three different faiths gather for a weekend event to share similarities and differences in their religions.
Dallas (WiredPRNews.com) – Individuals of various faiths are participating in a weekend event in Dallas in which they can share similarities and differences about their respective religions. As reported by CBS 11 News, Muslim, Jewish, and Christian congregations are visiting one another’s places of worship over the course of three days as part of a unique event geared towards gaining an understanding of different faiths.
As noted in the report, the congregations will meet at Temple Shalom of North Dallas, the Islamic Center of Irving, and the Northwood Church in Keller over the course of three days.
Pastor Bob Roberts of NorthWood is quoted by CBS 11 News as stating of the event, “At the end of the day there are differences, and those differences should not keep us apart… That’s the whole message that were trying to say…don’t be an isolationist. Reach out across the aisle.”
