Dallas Idol contestants head to Hollywood

Several Dallas American Idol hopefuls were shown to make it to Hollywood in Wednesday’s episode.
Dallas, Texas (WiredPRNews.com) – A number of American Idol hopefuls from Dallas made it to the Hollywood stage of auditions. As reported by the Dallas Morning News, 31 individuals from the area were shown on Wednesday’s AI episode to advance to the next stage of the process.
As noted in the report, Dallas contestants were shown positively overall as likeable and friendly. One contestant, dock worker Lloyd Thomas, who received a coveted golden ticket, is quoted in the report as stating of his advancement, “I wish you could taste what I taste right now… It’s tangible, it’s touchable, it’s readable and it’s reachable. It’s the taste of victory.” Thomas is further quoted as stating of wanting to make it to provide a better life for his children, “I want them to know that when Daddy says, ‘You can do anything, baby!’ that we can do anything.”
