Rains sweep through Dallas-Forth Worth, colder weather expected

North Texas was hit with heavy rains Thursday, and more inclement weather is on the way according to weather reports.
Dallas, Texas (WiredPRNews.com) – Thunderstorms swept through North Texas Thursday, with flooding seen in some areas. As reported by the Dallas Morning News, in addition to the wet conditions, Dallas and other areas in North Texas are expected to see a cold front pass through before the weekend.
As noted in the report Texas Department of Transportation officials are making preparations for icy conditions in Denton, and other areas if necessary. Weekend weather conditions are reportedly expected to improve with sunnier skies and warmer temperatures.
Daniel Huckaby, a National Weather Service meteorologist in Fort Worth, is quoted in the report as advising parents of anticipated near freezing temperatures for Friday, “Bundle the kids up for tomorrow.”
