Young boy accidentally injured by mother’s vehicle at school
A young boy was injured after his mother accidentally hit him during a school drop off.
Dallas, Texas (WiredPRNews.com) – A young Lake Highlands Elementary School student was injured after his mother accidentally hit him with her vehicle during a drop off at school. As reported by the Dallas Morning News, the eight year-old was hit after exiting the vehicle, while his mother was attempting to pull away. The young boy was reportedly able to walk away following the accident, according to a spokesperson for the Dallas police, Cpl. Janice Crowther.
As noted in the report, the mother of the child took him to a hospital after the incident. The accident reportedly occurred near Walnut Hill Lane in the 9500 block of Ferndale Road early Thursday morning at approximately 7:30 a.m.
