ReelHeART short film Premiere ‘Miracle Fish’ nominated for an Oscar™
Toronto, CAN - February 2, 2010 The other film festival in Toronto is ReelHeART
ReelHeART International Film Festival (RHIFF) is Toronto’s indie film festival that’s quietly been attracting Oscar™ caliber films since we first arrived on the scene.
What’s great is that our premieres of Academy Award™ winning shorts come from all over the world. 2010 is no different as we salute Australian director Luke Doolan on his short film nomination for ‘Miracle Fish’, along with producer Drew Bailey and actors Brendan Donoghue and Karl Beattie.
ReelHeART doesn’t cater to a culturally-specific audience. We celebrate the culture and ART of filmmaking. It’s that simple-
ReelHeART is the only festival where independent film has a ‘true voice’ and commercial appeal. We also boast audience endorsement as being the most “accessible and consistently programmed” with “exceptional and diverse films”.
ReelHeART is voted as the ‘cool film festival’ by audiences that come from all over the world to see films they can believe in and films they can see no where else in Toronto.
Congratulations once again to Luke Doolan and his Academy Award™ nomination for ‘Miracle Fish’!
