Dallas, Texas (WiredPRNews.com) – More and more doctors are reportedly hearing patients express disappointment with their plastic surgery results. As reported by NBC DFW News, Dallas plastic surgeon Dr. Sam Hamra has written a guide called “The Facelift Letdown: When Results Don’t Meet Expectations” to help patients better educate themselves on procedures before having them done.

Victoria Hutchins, a patient who visited Hamra after being disappointed by previous cosmetic surgeries, is quoted in the report as stating of her experience, “It was awful; it was embarrassing…My grandchildren actually made fun of me…I let myself be sold something, and I should have known better.”

Hamra is quoted in the report as stating of the issue, “All the standard questions have got to be there…How much does it cost? How long does it take? What are the complications? Is it in a hospital, is it in your office?”
