Casey Johnson death linked to health condition
The death of the Johnson and Johnson heir was reportedly diabetes related.
Los Angeles (WiredPRNews.com) – The death of Johnson and Johnson heir Casey Johnson was reportedly diabetes related. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the Los Angeles County coroner stated this week that the 30 year-old heiress’ death was caused by diabetic ketoacidosis, a condition attributed to low insulin levels and high blood sugar.
As noted in the report, Johnson’s body was reportedly found Jan. 4 at her home, and an autopsy was conducted the following day. The report from the autopsy and toxicology tests are expected to become available over the next few weeks. Dr. Michael Baden, former New York City chief medical examiner, is quoted by the AP as stating, “If you have somebody with diabetes, there should be somebody checking up on that person.”
