MySpace CEO replaced
Owen Van Natta has parted ways with the company after less than a year.
San Francisco (WiredPRNews.com) – The CEO of social networking site MySpace has stepped down from his position. As reported by Reuters, Owen Van Natta has been replaced as CEO by News Corp after less than a year on the job.
News Corp Digital Media CEO Jon Miller is quoted by Reuters as stating of the recent change, “Owen took on an incredible challenge in working to refocus and revitalize MySpace, and the business has shown very positive signs recently as a result of his dedicated work… However, in talking to Owen about his priorities both personally and professionally going forward, we both agreed that it was best for him to step down at this time. I want to thank Owen for all of his efforts.”
