Dallas Teen injured while being chased by bullies
A Dallas teen was reportedly hit by a car while being chased by bullies.
Dallas, Texas (WiredPRNews.com) – A Dallas teenager was hit by a car Friday while trying to run from bullies who were chasing him. As reported by CBS 11 News, Kemaurice Hunt, 14, has been hospitalized after being injured in the accident, which occurred near Ledbetter and Bonnie View in South Dallas.
Mother of the teen, Lisa Brooks, is quoted by CBS 11 News as stating of being unable to proceed with plans to celebrate her son’s recent birthday over the weekend, “I can’t do that now because my child is in the emergency room and he’ll be there tonight, possibly days because of some children who decided they wanted to jump my child.”
As noted in the report, the teenager’s relatives are seeking to press charges against the individuals who were chasing him when the accident occurred.
