Motorcade accident victim’s family sues Clinton

The family of an officer fatally injured in a motorcade accident two years ago has filed a lawsuit against the city of Dallas and others.
Dallas, Texas (WiredPRNews.com) – The family of a police officer who was fatally injured in a motorcade accident while escorting then U.S. presidential candidate Hilary Clinton two years ago has filed a lawsuit against the city of Dallas, Clinton and others. As reported by the Dallas Morning News, the family of Senior Cpl. Victor Lozada filed suit Monday alleging Lozada received insufficient training for the assignment and other issues. The 49 year-old veteran Dallas officer reportedly hit a concrete guardrail during the accident, which contributed to his injuries.
David Schiller, an attorney for the Lozada family, is quoted in the report as stating of the lawsuit, “None of this is going to bring back their father and husband;” however the decision was made to file suit “because they don’t believe that without taking legal action many of these things are going to change on their own.”
