Free Self Employment Expo teaches a better way to Financial Control
The fear of “Pink Slip” Friday has overwhelmed a large portion of the workforce. Most of us are groomed from childhood to earn a living through traditional employment. In these economic conditions, some are considering business ownership or some other form of self employment but simply don’t have the information to take the first step. Employ Yourself Events is committed to providing options, tools and resources to everyone with one simple goal: You can learn to employ yourself.
More than a Home Based Business Event, The Self Employment Expo on April 3, 2010 at the Oaklawn Hilton is the only event of its kind. It brings together a myriad of self employment options such as direct sell, franchise, business ownership and independent contractor opportunities. Additionally, they provide training, seminars and workshops that span topics from self publishing to how to successfully transition to self employment. The expo and all seminars are free to attend and provide valuable resources to successfully transition into self-employment. The 2010 Expo has added a new element. The “Build Your Business Challenge” provides potential and existing business owners an opportunity to win $500 to put toward their business endeavors.
Employ Yourself Events is the brainchild of Darlene Tate. She is the owner of EEL,inc, home of Rhyme-N-Tyme Family game and Employ Yourself Events which provides training to current and aspiring self employed professionals. She created the Self Employment Expo to provide a free event that would demonstrate the legitimate options available to secure an income independent of traditional employment.
