A Fort Worth man has been accused of stealing 100 properties.
Dallas, Texas (WiredPRNews.com) – A Fort Worth man has been accused of multiple home thefts in a massive property scam. As reported by NBC DFW News, Norris Lynn Fisher was arrested on Friday for allegedly stealing 100 homes valued at over $1 million.
David Lobingier, an assistant prosecutor in the DA’s economic crimes unit, is quoted in the report as stating of the case, “To my knowledge, it’s one of the biggest property scams to ever hit this county…They just made up names and, later, those non-existent persons would sell the house to another person and to another person. Eventually it would go to a shell corporation Fisher controlled.”
As noted in the report, a hearing is stated to be set for March 3 regarding the case.
