Man fatally injured in crash
A Dallas man was killed Thursday in a one-vehicle accident.
Richardson, Texas (WiredPRNew.com) – A Dallas man died following a one-vehicle accident on Thursday. As reported by the Dallas Morning News, Jimmie Starek, 21, was killed late Thursday after losing control of his vehicle and hitting a tree. Starek was reportedly driving a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse and headed east on Arapaho.
As noted in the report, Starek was pronounced dead at the site of the accident. His passenger Donna Cochran, 31, was transported to Parkland Memorial Hospital and stated to have been in critical condition at the time of the report. The speed Starek was driving prior to the accident was reportedly believed to be a contributor to the crash; however authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident.
The accident reportedly occurred around 11:30 on Thursday night.
