Mass. Senator plans memoir release

Senator Scott Brown will reportedly release his memoirs in 2011.
Massachusetts (WiredPRNews.com) – Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown has landed a book deal. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the Republican senator who won the seat long held by the late Sen. Edward Kennedy is set to release his memoirs in early 2011.
Publisher HarperCollins is quoted in the report as releasing the statement by Brown on Tuesday regarding the announcement of the book deal, “I am humbled to have the opportunity to share my personal story in hopes to inform, encourage and inspire others.”
HarperCollins is further quoted by the AP as stating of the book, “Sen. Brown will write about his family background, his early career, and his ascent to the office of Massachusetts senator, one of the biggest political coups of the decade… He will also discuss the policies and issues he cares about most passionately.”
