Michigan (WiredPRNews.com) – Former late-night talk show host Conan O’Brien’s decision to follow a Twitter user who had only three followers last week has yielded surprising results. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), after O’Brien chose Michigan woman Sarah Killen as his sole followee, her following was boosted to approximately 20,000 users as of Wednesday, which has already helped her score a new computer and help for her wedding.
O’Brien is quoted by the AP as posting on Twitter Friday, “I’ve decided to follow someone at random… She likes peanut butter and gummy dinosaurs. Sarah Killen, your life is about to change.”
