An Addison entrepreneur offers support for female business owners.
Addison, Texas (WiredPRNews.com) – An Addison CEO is seeking to inspire female business owners to believe they can achieve a higher level of success. As reported by NBC DFW News, Sandra Yancey, the founder and CEO of eWomen Network offers networking support for her organization’s members.
Yancy is quoted in the report as stating, “Less than two percent of all women business owners break a million dollars in revenue. That’s something I want to change… I think networking, in the end, is what differentiates successful companies from the ones that aren’t.”
Yancy is further quoted as stating of reports that more women are viewing the present as a good time to take advantage of business opportunities, “I think a lot of people have taken a wait-and-see approach, and the truth is now is a wonderful time to be building a business, get a leg up… In 2009, for the first time in the history of this nation, women surpassed men in the workforce. Women are starting businesses at rate of two-to-one to men. Women understand that they want flexibility and control in their lives.”
