Runaway Prius raises more Toyota concerns

Numerous questions arise after a man reports his Toyota Prius became jammed while driving Monday.
San Diego, CA (WiredPRNews.com) – Recent accusations by a real estate agent, who claimed his Toyota Prius became jammed and caused a runaway ordeal are being questioned as investigators continue to look into the incident. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), some remain skeptical about the claims of James Sikes despite there being no evidence that information provided in his call to 911 was false.
California Highway Patrol spokesperson Brian Pennings is quoted by the AP as stating, “There is no factual information that I’m aware of, or the highway patrol is aware of, that would discredit his story.”
Sikes was reportedly not injured in the incident, nor was there any damage to his vehicle. Toyota and federal investigators are reportedly investigating the occurrence.
