Woman injured after jumping into truck for phone

A Denton woman was reportedly injured after trying to retrieve her cell phone from a moving vehicle.
Denton (WiredPRNews.com) – A woman was reportedly injured while attempting to retrieve her cell phone from a moving vehicle. As reported by the Denton Record-Chronicle, the woman stated to authorities she got into an altercation with her boyfriend, who subsequently took her cell phone and refused to return it. When he allegedly left with the phone, the woman is stated to have attempted to leap into the boyfriend’s truck while it was moving, and was dragged several feet until he reached a slower speed, and she was able to let go of the vehicle.
As noted in the report, the woman was later taken to the hospital for injuries to her hands and feet. Officials are investigating the incident.
