As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Gibbs called Twitter an “amazing tool” as well as a “fabulous medium” in an interview with “Reliable Sources,” which aired on CNN on Sunday.
As noted in the report, Gibbs also stated that the character posting limit challenges him to present his thoughts in less words. The Press Secretary is further noted to have stated in the interview that the use of Twitter provides him with an outlet for keeping masses of individuals, who may be seeking updates on the actions of President Barack Obama, up to speed in addition to reaching out to reporters and others.
