The British actress reportedly passed away Sunday after a long battle with breast cancer.
New York (WiredPRNews.com) – Actress and member of the Engish Redgrave acting dynasty Lynn Redgrave has died. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the Oscar winning star of “Georgy Girl” and “Gods and Monsters” passed away Sunday at age 67 after a long battle with breast cancer.
Regrave’s children are quoted by the AP as releasing the statement on Monday, “Our beloved mother Lynn Rachel passed away peacefully after a seven year journey with breast cancer… She lived, loved and worked harder than ever before. The endless memories she created as a mother, grandmother, writer, actor and friend will sustain us for the rest of our lives. Our entire family asks for privacy through this difficult time.”
Redgrave is the sister of actress Vanessa Redgrave and actor/activist Corin Redgrave, who passed away last month from prostate cancer.
