A former football player pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide in connection with an accident that killed a friend of his brother.
Baltimore (WiredPRNews.com) – A man who earned recognition as a former high school and college football star has pleaded guilty to negligent homicide after his brother’s friend was killed in a car accident. As reported by The Baltimore Sun, David Erdman, 22, entered the guilty plea early this week in connection with the crash last November in which he was driving while being under the influence of alcohol.
As noted in the report, Erdman was driving the vehicle with his brother and his friend and high school teammate Steven Dankos from a party when the wreck occurred. His blood-alcohol level was reportedly almost three times the .08 legal limit.
Erdman will reportedly be sentenced in a hearing set for Aug. 5.
