The Clothing Line That Supports Our Troops Also Supports Their Families
Los Angeles, CA – May 7, 2010 – Milifdel, a California-based clothing company, is sponsoring mixed martial artists at the PureCombat/Hitman Fights event being held at Camp Pendleton. Attendance to this event is not open to public but free for service members. Milifidel Soldiers Frank “The Tank” Lester, Kenny “The Crusher” McCorkell, and Kenneth “The Black Ninja” Alexander will be donning shirts from the up and coming clothing line as they enter the octagon. Kenneth and Frank are no strangers to battle fields, as they have each toured in either Iraq and/or Afghanistan prior to their professional fighting careers. The soldiers are in for a real treat as they get to see live action from world renowned fighters whom have fought on various fight cards for WEC, UFC, Strikeforce, and others. These three match-ups will brought to the fans by Milifidel.
Milifidel also recently announced their initiative to raise $1 million for one of the leading foundations in the care for
military families of war, the West Los Angeles Fisher House. In conjunction with the release of their new clothing line
and the launching of their new website, Milifidel will be actively engaging in a grassroots campaign with the help of
Emmy Award winning actress and star of Army Housewives Kim Delaney. According to the Milifidel founder and his
arsenal of friends, family, and recruits, “Milifidel’s mission is to pay homage to the men, women and overall history of
the U.S. Armed Forces, and what better way to do that than by supporting the people they love most… their families.”
The Fisher house was founded in 1990 and currently provides services to over 10,000 families of military veterans a
year and has at least one program at every major military base. Families of injured soldiers whom are temporarily
incapacitated seek help from the Fisher House so that they can stay by their side during their care and recovery. The
Fisher House provides family members home cooked meals, access to peaceful surroundings such as libraries and
gardens, as well as comfort and support from the staff and other families while their beloved soldier undergoes
treatment at a nearby VA facility.
The entire Milifidel clothing line is made and designed with pride here in the US. The stunning collection is printed on
high quality fabric for both men and women, with a mid-range price point. The clothing brand was designed fusing
powerful imagery and patriotic nuances to pay homage to the generations of soldiers who have fought and who still
fight to this day for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. With the million dollar goal in mind, a percentage of all
Milifidel sales will be contributed directly to the West Los Angeles Fisher House.
