Dr. B.H. Kim, in response to increasing interest in his Cosmetic Eye Whitening procedure, launches a website offering education, videos, articles and a forum for ophthalmologists interested in adding a new offering to their services. Patients also benefit from the information offered on the site.
(Seoul, Korea; (WiredPRNews.com)) – Dr. Bong-Hyun Kim, founder of Seer & Partner Eye Institute in Seoul, Korea, launched a website to offer other physicians the opportunity to learn and eventually gain the ability and confidence to perform the surgery themselves. Physicians who train under Dr. Kim will earn a certificate of completion – a patient can feel at ease knowing their physician learned from the one who started it all. Dr. Kim’s experience with over 13,000 procedures certainly gives him the credentials to now educate others.
“The response to Cosmetic Eye Whitening™ has been overwhelming and I think it is the right time to launch this website. It will be a vehicle to share information between myself, other physicians and patients,” explains Dr. Kim. The website will give other physicians an opportunity to learn more about the procedure and how to do it themselves. The goal, says Dr. Kim, is to “ensure that doctors are properly educated and prepared to give the highest quality care to their patients.” After more than 14 years of experience with this procedure, he is more than ready for this new venture.
“Not only does the site offer education, via videos and articles, it will also enable physicians to discuss their experiences and share advice on the forum.” Of course, Dr. Kim plans to be quite active on the forum himself. In addition to the forum, he will offer on-going personal consultation services for any questions there may be on the procedure.
There are benefits to be had for the patient. Memberships are available for the general public and will allow access to information that will help in understanding the science as well as the methodology behind it all. “The public will be privy to information that normally physicians would have access to giving them a greater understanding of everything that is involved. I would like to see this website become a major resource for physicians and patients,” says Dr. Kim. “There will be information that is heavy on medical terminology but giving patients access to this information will give them the freedom to do some research themselves,” he adds.
New features and information will be added over the next few months, including videos, seminars and articles. Its growing membership base will make the site more valuable to its members.
