Cleburne, TX – A utility worker is reportedly missing after a gas line explosion in north Texas. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), searchers were looking for the missing person following the blast on Monday, which sent seven other workers to the hospital.
Laura Harlin, a resident of Granbury, a nearby town, is quoted by the AP as stating of the explosion, which occurred after the line was hit by utility workers by accident, “For about 10 minutes, it was so loud that it was like there was an 18-wheeler rumbling in your driveway.”
Houston-based Enterprise Products Partners LP is owner of the gas line, which aids in transport of gas from West Texas to utility companies and other users in several parts of the state.
