After working in numerous homes, two points usually come up:
1) color selection for the faux and
2) decorating the finished rooms.
Helping to choose colors for base coats and faux glazes is our strong suit. Eva Musquiz (owner and lead faux artist) has a keen eye for colors and color combinations. Ever met anyone who can see “too much orange in this red” or “needs more yellow in this tan”? Eva is just this way.
The success of Evie’s Easel Decorative and Faux Painting is her innate ability to help clients choose the correct color combination to fit the look they are searching for. Once the colors are chosen, we then apply these colors to a sample board in order to present to our client, assuring the colorations are on target.
At Evie’s Easel, we may not be interior decorators, but we can help produce the backdrop of your home’s interior design. We can help when it comes to arranging or decorating a room in which we’ve faux finished, with items already in the home. Unless the client is prepared to refurnish a room, most want to maximize the room with furnishings, artwork and pictures they own. Just ask and we’ll help!
