Arlington, Texas – A fan who took a 30 feet tumble at a Rangers game this week recently spoke publicly about his ordeal. As reported by CBS 11 News, Tyler Morris, who was being treated at JPS Hospital since his fall Tuesday, discussed the ordeal and getting to go home Thursday afternoon.
Morris is quoted in the report as stating of falling at the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, “I thought I would die, honestly knowing how far I was up there…. I turned around, as I reached up it bounced back at me. I had it in my hands when I reached up I fell backwards I had no idea where my location was I was totally a misjudgment of where I was I lost the ball grabbed the rail hit something else don’t remember anything else after that point.”
As noted in the report, Morris was given the foul ball while in the hospital by Hall of famer and Rangers President Nolan Ryan, who visited him during his stay.
