Dallas based faux finishing expert Evie’s Easel faux finishing work was recently shown in the May/June 2010 issue of DHome Magazine!
On page 54 of the prestigious Dallas magazine, you will see a picture of Carley Seale, owner of The Gypsy Wagon, a unique East Dallas gift shop, as she is being interviewed on the opening of her new store on Knox-Henderson in Dallas.
Behind her is a John Wayne poster in front of the newly decoratively painted walls Evie’s Easel just finished for her. Of course, it is only a small portion of wall. To see more, check out our website at www.EviesEasel.com.
When we first met with Ms. Seale, she provided pictures of a wall with distressed paint (that is, a top layer paint that was flaking off to show a different color beneath). Her goal was to have the shop walls painted in such a manner as to look aged and distressed. She actually wanted such a look in three different colorations, in three different areas of her retail shop.
You can see the results in before-and-after photo shots including a few pictures with the shop now fully in inventory.
