U.S. – Men who make less than their female partners may be more likely to be unfaithful in a relationship according to a recent study. As reported by HealthDay News, researchers found that income may have an effect on infidelity, not only with men, but also with women who make more money than their male partners.
Study author Christin Munsch is quoted in the report as stating of the research findings, “With women, they were less likely to engage in infidelity the less money they make relative to their husband… But for men, the less money you make relative to your spouse, the more likely you are to engage in infidelity.”
The research findings were reportedly released at the recent annual meeting of the American Sociological Association in Atlanta.
