Boston – Writings of the late Jacqueline Kennedy are being released through Twitter. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library is now using the social media site as a medium for re-creating the column she penned in 1960 “Campaign Wife,” which provided a glimpse into her life as the wife of a presidential candidate.
Kennedy is quoted as stating in a column excerpt which was made into one of the first tweets posted last week, “You can imagine how frustrating it is to be in Hyannis Port reading all that he’s doing and not participating in any way.”
Kennedy is further quoted as having written, “I decided one way to keep from feeling left out was to talk through this column to the friendly people all over the country.”
As noted in the report, the (at)JBK1960 Twitter feed had over 3,600 followers as of Friday.
