Los Angles, CA (WiredPRNews.com) Who is Dwight Coates? Penn Multimedia sat down with the SAP Guru and Program Management veteran to find out more about himself and his company, eImplement. With all the buzz we wanted to get some more information into eImplement Partner, Dwight Coates.
Penn: “Why did you start eImplement”
Dwight: “The year was 2009, due to market conditions and impending bankruptcy, I left my position as Vice President of Information Technology and Online Marketing for EMAK Worldwide to carve out my own nitch in the SAP/Program Management world. EMAK had been my home for 4 wonderful years. I had revolutionized their SAP Program rolling out advanced Costing/Profitability Analysis using Business Warehouse. I brought Dashboards and easy slice/dice functionality to the C-Level to analyst role… I instilled change. Due to the slow down in the Product/Ad Agency world I made the decision to leave Corporate America and start a consulting firm that infuses my strong Program Management background, Corporate IT Background, with the world of SAP (which has been my life for 14 years). Bottom line.. I wanted to use my experience to help companies operate better”.
Penn: “Besides EMAK Worldwide and eImplement what other companies have you worked for”
Dwight: “I have worked for Big 4 Consulting firms (Ernst and Young/Cap Gemini) to Strategy firms such as EDS/ATKearney, to the powerhouse itself, SAP America and SAP Labs” I build relationships where I work… I bridge these relationships across companies, across brands, across ERP packages. I am a people person…. I enjoy getting people engaged, getting use of of their technology.:
Penn: “Describe to us some of of your current projects?”
Dwight: “That is a tall order. We focus in various industries, various functionalities. I focus on C-Level (CIO) Advisory Services, I am currently focusing primarily on a project involving Global Program Management in the SAP arena rolling out a Global Template to various SBU’s across the globe in the Aerospace/Defense industry including the MRO module”
Penn: “Describe some of eImplement’s other projects including your business partner Taylor’s projects”
Dwight: “We span across the world of SAP pure and simple, we are focusing on the Pharm Space involving ECC upgrades, and also Business Intelligence. eImplement is actively working on various CRM projects from the Financial Sector to the Product Space”. We are involved from high level to deep implementations… it is an exciting time in 2010
Penn: “Have you ever had a world outside of SAP”
Dwight: “Have I ? (Laughing Loudly) I can’t remember a world outside of SAP. SAP has been my life…. ERP has been my life… Program Management is in my blood. This is a very exciting space you know!:
Penn: “What do you dream about”
Dwight: “Microsoft Project Grids… (again laughing)”
Penn: “Enough about SAP, can you tell us more about Dwight… the myth…the legend..”
Dwight: “Now that is funny. I am just a hardworking guy living in an extraordinary city of Los Angeles. Living in Los Angeles I have great access to the world of Hollywood and some very unique and amazing people. I also enjoy quiet weekends down in Orange County ( Huntington Beach or Laguna).. I enjoy recharging. However, yes I always carry my iPhone and my Blackberry…. Some say Wall Street never sleeps.. well the world of SAP doesn’t sleep either”
