Washington – A new tool is geared towards helping social network users prevent making embarrassing Facebook posts during times they may be inebriated. As reported by AFP, the free tool, offered by Colorado-based web security company Webroot requires users of social networks like Facebook and Twitter to pass a coordination test when attempting to make posts at designated times to ensure that drunken mails are not let through.
The tool is promised by Webroot to “put an end to the embarrassment that follows regrettable, late-night posts.”
As noted in the report the “Social Media Sobriety Test” is available as a Firefox web browser plug-in.
