Watertown, MA – (WiredPRNews.com) Customers at Lexus of Watertown will take home an extra present between now and January 3 as the Greater Boston Lexus dealer slips Shreve, Crump & Low gift cards into the glove compartments of every new model. Anyone who buys or leases a new Lexus at the dealership will receive a gift card from the renowned Boston jeweler, along with 20% off a Shreve, Crump & Low purchase until February 28, 2010.
“It’s a thrill to bring two of the most customer-focused businesses in Boston together for the holidays,” said Vincent Liuzzi, general manager of Lexus of Watertown. “As someone who takes customer service seriously, I always try to work with companies that share my philosophy. The first time I walked into Shreve, Crump & Low, I saw that I was surrounded by people who value their customers just as much as I do.”
A landmark of the Boston retail scene, Shreve, Crump & Low opened its doors in 1796 and has had a presence in the Back Bay since 1929, first at the corner of Arlington and Boylston streets and currently in the former F.A.O. Schwartz location at 440 Boylston Street. The oldest jeweler in North America, Shreve’s began business by competing with Paul Revere in the production of fine silver and moved on to create some of the most coveted gifts and awards in the United States, including the Davis Cup and the Cy Young Award.
David Walker, owner of Shreve, Crump & Low, was equally impressed with Lexus of Watertown, where he has purchased three Lexus LS sedans.
“You can always tell when a company really cares about its customers, and I get that feeling every time I visit Lexus of Watertown,” Walker said. “For me, a promotion that brings Shreve’s and this exceptional Lexus dealer together is a natural fit.”
New Lexus owners are not the only ones who will benefit from Lexus of Watertown’s generosity during the holidays. For the fifth consecutive year, the dealership will be accepting donations for Toys for Tots at its showroom at 330 Arsenal Street in Watertown. Area residents can drop off new, unwrapped toys or make cash donations until December 17. Cash donations are used to buy toys, which are added to the collection.
Lexus of Watertown is hoping to improve on the success of its 2009 Toys for Tots drive, which saw Service Consultant Cliff Shaw making an extra trip to the donation center to bring in the toys that the Marines could not fit in their delivery van.
