On March 23, 2011 John Adams Virtual School announced that they have expanded their capacity to give more student access to a quality High School Education and GED opportunities. Through John Adams Virtual School students can earn their adult high school diploma by equivalency examination or by traditional correspondence study for students ages 16-adult.
John Adams Virtual School is planning to add 5-7 additional instructors and curriculum developers for the 2011-12 school year. John Adams Virtual School employs state licensed instructors who work with their students and school board members.
John Adams Virtual School is accredited by the American Council on Private School Accreditation, which accredits hundreds of private schools in the United States. Students can earn a nationally accredited diploma entirely online, at their own pace. John Adams Virtual School is registered with the Florida Department of Education as a private, diploma granting high school.
In an interview with Mark Collins senior administrator of John Adams Virtual School he says that the additional staff will reduce the class size per instructor and allow for more one on one online tutoring for students.
“Our goal is to provide the absolute best education available within a distant learning environment. This investment in additional staff is also an investment in our students. At John Adams Virtual School we believe that our success is directly connected to the success of our students, and collectively our future is braced for achievement.”
