Melbourne, Austalia (WiredPRNews.com) Further strengthening its management team, IDM – International today announced the appointment of Anthony Bridgeford, as Head of EU Economic Research and Chief EU Economist. Mr. Bridgeford is responsible for analyzing and forecasting the EU economy, monetary and fiscal policies of European Union.
Mr. Bridgeford`s research regarding global monetary policies of the last decade has been published in a number of academic journals. “Anthony’s experience and deep knowledge of the EU economy is valued by our clients worldwide,” said Brian Lynch, Head of Research Department. “In his new role, Anthony will take full responsibility for our EU economic research, including policy, analysis and forecasts.”
North American and European companies have historically been the most active international future traders, and while companies based in these regions will continue to look across national boundaries for market opportunities, the next wave of cross-border futures trading will be led from Asia Pacific. Australian companies, in particular, are well positioned for international future trading. Relative to their overseas peers, Asian or European, Australian trading firms are well capitalized with strong balance sheets and cash reserves.
Commenting on the new appointment, Jason Bakin, Press Officer for IDM – International, said, “The futures trading sector represents a broad segment of the market today, that spans the global economy. Institutional clients represent some of the most active users of international financing, risk management and advisory and I am confident that under Anthony Bridgeford, and Brian`s leadership our already strong Research Department will be well positioned for further growth and expansion”
