Boston, MA (WiredPRNews.com) Apparently, someone believes “At Fenway” is going to be a Best Buy.
At least, the chain seems to think so.
The retail outlet will carry the new single “At Fenway” beginning in just week. The song, written and recorded by Brian Evans, and produced by multiple Grammy Award winner Narada Michael Walden (Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Mariah Carey, Elton John, George Michael), is currently producing Evans’ debut album, which features Evans’ homage to The Boston Red Sox.
“Fenway Park has always been a special place for me and my fellow Bostonian’s,” says Evans. “It’s a great thrill that the largest retail chain in America is behind my new song, and that they are going to give it the attention they are. I really do appreciate it,” says Evans.
Evans began his career as an actor on such shows as “Full House” and “Beverly Hills, 90210,” as a kid. He then began performing as the opening act for Joan Rivers, Jay Leno, Social Distortion, Dionne Warwick, Rich Little, and Lou Rawls. He has performed thousands of shows in Las Vegas, which has resulted in proclamations from Mayor Oscar Goodman, then-Governor Kenny Guinn, and various U.S. Presidents including George Bush Sr. & Jr., Bill Clinton, Gerald Ford, and Jimmy Carter.
