For the fourth year in a row, Columbine Label Company, Inc. has given back to the community with donations to the Arapahoe County Adopt-a-Family Program through the Arapahoe County Department of Human Services. The custom label producer encourages their employees to donate and the company matches funds dollar for dollar.
Identified families of the Adopt-a-Family program generally consist of children and adults who have been victims of abuse and neglect, or are experiencing financial hardship.
“This year we were able to provide a single mother with three children, ages 9, 12 and 14, with all of the items on their needs list and some items on each of their wants list,” said Columbine Label president Greg Jackson. “Columbine Label is proud to support such an important community organization that changes lives in Arapahoe County.”
Last year Columbine Label began sponsoring a teenager through the Adopt-a-Family program. This sponsorship provides the teen with monetary gifts throughout the year to help her with needs and wants such as school supplies, clothes and a season pass to Elitch Gardens.
Columbine Label also makes annual donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and Denver-based Global Down Syndrome Foundation.
