Fort Collins Club, a Northern Colorado fitness center, is now accepting enrollment for their kids summer camp program, Camp Fort Collins Club. The camp is designed for children ages 5-12 years old, and will meet on location starting June 4 through August 3, 2012, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. There will be no camp on July 4. Parents will be able to drop their children off as early as 7:45 am. Registration is available at the front desk of Fort Collins Club.
Weekly and sibling discounts are available, and the camp is open to both members and non-members of FCC. The camp will offer a variety of activities, ranging from ice-skating and field trips to craft and theme day, which will include Pirate Day and a Hawaiian luau.
Fort Collins Club is now also offering kids swimming lessons for parents who are interested in enrolling their children this summer. The first session will commence on June 4 and end 11 days later on the 15, sessions will continue throughout the summer with additional start dates on June 18, July 2, and July 16. For those that are simply interested in swimming, the outdoor pool is currently open.
Not only do summer enrollment classes benefit kids by keeping them active while they are out of school, but also allows time for parents to have some time to focus on their own health. To help adults accomplish this, Fort Collins Club has revved up its Pilates club by hiring a new Pilates program director, Marissa Lueders. Lueders received her Pilates training from the PhysicalMind Institute in Boston, Massachusetts. She has certifications in advanced matwork, standing Pilates, equipment apparatus, rehabilitation protocols, and Pilates for golf. FCC currently offers 30 mat classes a week in addition to 15 Pilates Equipment classes. Their studio is hailed as the best equipped in Fort Collins and offers low rates for both members and non-members alike.
