08/08/2014 (press release: ascutta) // Cherry Hill, NJ, USA // Melanie Gaskins, Campus Director
The Harris School of Business held a ribbon-cutting ceremony this July to unveil its improved suite of classrooms and laboratories. Councilman Jim Bannar and Councilwoman Susan Shin Angulo attended the event, and were treated to a tour of the facilities.
“The renovated space looks fresh and updated, and it is perfect timing as our school is growing to accommodate more students,” says Melanie Gaskins, campus director of the Cherry Hill campus. Located in the One Cherry Hill building near the Cherry Hill Mall, the Harris School provides career-focused education in the fields of allied health and business management.
With a current enrollment of approximately 260 students, the school offers several programs including professional medical assistant training, medical billing and coding training, legal office technology, and a computerized accounting technology program.
“Our programming is expanding starting in August,” Gaskins continues. “We will be offering a massage therapy program, and in addition, we are looking forward to adding Electronic Health Records (EHR) training to some of our current programs.” To accommodate the growth in new programs and enrollment, the school plans to renovate additional space in the current building, which will create more classrooms and administrative offices.
Founded in 1965, the Harris School of Business has a long history of providing career-focused programs.
