This year’s annual Macworld conference has been described as lacking in comparison to past events.
Wired PR News.com – The final Macworld Conference & Expo to receive participation from Apple Inc. took place on Tuesday and reportedly left many less than enthused. As reported by Reuters, Wall Street and others were left with disappointment after the conference failed to deliver the usual epic product introductions, and keynote presentation by Apple CEO Steve Jobs.
Robert Francello of Apex Capital is quoted in the report as stating, “There were some innovative products, but no true blockbusters… People were bullish going into it, and now they’re kind of taking money off the table.”
A few of the products introduced at the event include a 17-inch slim laptop priced at $2,799, and a 10 million song library, with songs that will be available for .69 cents to $1.29 per download.
Shares in Apple fell by 0.7 percent on Tuesday.
