President Bush reportedly ready for a less hectic lifestyle upon settling in Dallas
Wired PR News.com – President George Bush will be passing the presidential torch to President Elect Barack Obama in less than two weeks. As he prepares for his transition from the White House to Dallas, Texas, the current president is reportedly looking forward to a calmer life out of office, as reported by the Dallas Morning News.
Bush is quoted as stating in an interview with the news source, “I remember eight years ago, thinking about the sense of anticipation about coming here to Washington, and how much our life was going to change… I feel that same sense of anticipation with – obviously with less of a sense of heavy responsibility about to ascend on me.”
Plans for the President are said to include raising money for a presidential library and dedicating time to working on a Freedom Institute project for Southern Methodist University, where First Lady Laura Bush attended school.
