A soldier’s throat was cut while on leave from Iraq in Dallas.
Wired PR News.com – A soldier’s throat was cut in Dallas while he was on a 30-day leave from Iraq. As reported by the Dallas Morning News, Spc. Ramiro Campozano, who was scheduled to return for military duty on Monday, is currently under hospital care after having his throat cut ear to ear.
Campozano and his ex-wife were reportedly drinking together in a vacant lot, when he got outside of their vehicle to vomit after he became ill. Several people were said to be in the lot at the time; however, the details had yet to be clarified at the time of the report on how Campozano subsequently sustained the injury. As quoted of his ex-wife Twanna Hall in the Dallas Morning News report, “I said, ‘Boo, get up, Boo, get up.’ But he didn’t move.” Hall was stated to have found Campozano lying in a pool of blood.
The matter is currently under investigation.
