Dallas utility bills are listed in new report as some of the nation’s highest.
Wired PR News.com – A recently released report has stated that Dallas homeowners pay some of the highest utility bills in the nation. As reported by the Dallas Morning News, WhiteFence.com released a report on Tuesday stating that Dallas was shown to have the highest utility costs last year, paying on average almost one hundred dollars higher than the national average.
Jeff Wagoner, CEO of WhiteFence is quoted in the Dallas Morning News report as stating the number “shows how dramatically utility costs can vary across the country.”
Los Angeles was listed as the city with the lowest average utility costs for homeowners, with a monthly average of approximately $234. Denver also ranked low on the list with an average of approximately $238 per month. Another Texas city, Houston was listed on the list for higher rates as well with a $374.46 per month utility average.
