The Steelers take home a history making victory at Sunday’s Super Bowl.
Wired PR News.com – The Pittsburgh Steelers triumph over the Arizona Cardinals with a 27-23 Super Bowl win on Sunday. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the now six time Super Bowl champions made their winning play with only 35 seconds remaining in the game.
Santonio Holmes, who made the six yard catch that led to the win was named the MVP of the game. Holmes is quoted in the AP report as stating, “Great players step up in big-time games to make plays…kind of lost a little composure, you know, but I knew our defense would give us a chance to make it back.”
Also noteworthy in this year’s Super Bowl game was Jennifer Hudson’s triumphant return to the stage, singing the National Athem: her first performance since the tragic killings of her mother, brother, and nephew last October.
