Apple has delayed the shipment of their 17-inch MacBook Pro until mid-February.
WiredPRNews.com – Apple has announced that the shipment of their new 17-inch MacBook Pro will be delayed until the middle of February. As reported by Macworld.com, the company’s new professional notebook was originally scheduled for release during the latter part of January; however, final steps have taken longer than anticipated. Bill Evans, a spokesperson for Apple, is quoted as stating to Macworld, “Wrapping up the new 17-inch MacBook Pro is taking a few days longer than we expected, and we now expect to begin shipments in mid-February.”
The new MacBook was introduced by the company at January’s Macworld Expo in San Francisco. As noted in the Macworld report, the retail price for the laptop is $2,799. Other MacBook versions are already currently on the market. Many are awaiting the new version’s release.
