West Palm Beach, Florida (WiredPRNews.Com) — Veteran interior designer Carleton Varney paid a visit to Pioneer Linens for a fancy tea party and book signing on February 11th and he was a hit!
Varney is an experienced decorator with an eye for style and a talent for writing, having penned multiple books and has written a decorating column for the Palm Beach Daily News’ marketing department for the past 31 years.
The visit was such a success that local newspapers have written a number of articles on the event.
Varney himself even wrote a touching thank you to Pioneer Linens:
“To West Palm Beach merchants Penny Murphy of Pioneer Linens on Clematis Street and Alan Soloman of Heath & Company on South Dixie Highway: Penny, your shop on Clematis Street carries all those sheets from Porthault with the green, lime or pink hearts – so appropriate for Valentine’s Day! And Alan, you’re able to provide lace-covered lampshades to me for many of our design projects. Both of you are design assets to our Palm Beach decorating community, as are your icon stars and decorating friends, Geoffrey Bradfield and Jennifer Garrigues. Happy Feb. 14th to all!”
