A man visiting Fort Worth from Atlanta saved a boy from drowning.
Wired PR News – A businessman from Atlanta saved a boy from drowning during a trip to Forth Worth this week. As reported by CBS 11 News, Mark Ward, who works for the Federal Aviation Administration, spotted the child with two women who appeared to need help while jogging. Ward is quoted as stating in the report that he, “was just at the right place at the right time.”
Ward stated that initially he didn’t see that anything was wrong, and is quoted as stating in the AP report, “it looked like they were playing… It looked like they were passing the boy back and forth between them.” However, the self-proclaimed excellent swimmer was soon alerted to the problem, and ran out to save the struggling swimmers.
Ward is further quoted as stating of his pride in helping save the young child, “…there’s a little boy that may go on to become a great doctor or something. Who knows?”
