Roger Friedman parts ways with Fox News after posting a review of X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
Wired PR News – Fox News columnist Roger Friedman parts ways with the news medium after posting a review of the soon to be released film X-Men Origins: Wolverine. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Friedman was immediately let go, on what Fox says were mutual terms, after writing that viewing the downloaded version of the film was, “so much easier than going out in the rain.” Friedman is also quoted in the report as stating the prequel, which stars Hugh Jackman, “exceeds expectations at every turn.”
As noted by the AP, the leaked download of the 20th Century Fox film was said to have been a stolen version, and subsequently removed from the company’s website. The leak is reportedly under investigation. The movie is scheduled to be released May 1.
