Debbie Rowe has reportedly made a legal move that signals a possible interest in taking custody of two of the late Michael Jackson’s children.
Press Release Service – Wired PR News – Ex-wife of the late entertainer Michael Jackson has reportedly expressed an interest in obtaining custody of the two children she shares with the star. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Debbie Rowe was granted a delay Thursday in a hearing over custody of Jackson’s children, which provides her with time to decide whether she wants custody of 12 year-old son Michael Joseph Jr. and 11 year-old daughter Paris Michael Katherine.
As noted by the AP, Jackson’s will states his wishes that custody go to his mother Katherine, who currently has temporary custody of all three of his children. A guardianship hearing has reportedly been rescheduled for July 13. A separate hearing regarding Jackson’s estate is set for Monday.
