Some view the government incentive program as a deal they cannot let pass them by.
Press Release Service – Wired PR News – The federal “cash for clunkers” car allowance rebate program is reportedly seen by many as an offer too good to pass up. As reported by CNN, many are deciding to take advantage of the program, which gives credits to individuals who trade in their gas guzzling vehicles for those with a better fuel efficiency, for environmental as well as financial purposes.
Julie Callahan of iReport.com, is quoted by CNN as stating of the motivation for her recent vehicle purchase, “Without the incentives, I probably wouldn’t have purchased a brand new vehicle.”
Caroline Radtke is also quoted in the report as stating of getting a new automobile, “What was going out of my [old] vehicle was bad for the planet, and you’re putting so much financially into the stupid thing to fill it up because it runs out so fast… After driving it for eight and a half years, I wanted something more productive financially and more friendly to the Earth.”
The program will reportedly end November 1. More information about it may be found by visiting http://www.fueleconomy.gov.
