The songbird and the rapper’s musical diss-off again turns ugly.
Press Release Service – Wired PR News – Eminem has fired back in response to Mariah Carey’s jab at him in her “Obsession” video. As reported by E! Online, the rapper suggested in his song “The Warning” that he had potentially controversial pictures of Carey from their purported past relationship that could be released.
Eminem is quoted as rapping in the song, “Mariah, it ever occur to you that I still have pictures?… But if I’m embarrassing me, I’m embarrassing you and don’t you dare say it isn’t true.” The rapper goes on to say, “As long as the song’s getting airplay I’m dissing you, I’m a hair away from getting carried away and getting sued, I was gonna stop at 16, this is 32, this is 34 bars, we ain’t even a third of the way through.”
As noted by E! Online, the beginning of the feud dates back to a song previously released by Eminem, which mentions Carey. The songbird’s husband Nick Cannon regarded the mention as disrespectful and blogged about it, stating Eminem was obsessed with his wife. Things have reportedly only escalated from there.
